DFSWM's Fundraiser
Together we create pathways toward economic independence!
DFSWM creates pathways toward economic independence for hundreds of women and non-binary people each year and your support keeps us going strong. 25 years strong, to be precise! This year we are celebrating 25 years of supporting women and non-binary people as they move out of poverty and toward financial independence.
Each year, our continuum of workforce development programming helps hundreds of people who are refugees, immigrants, in recovery, post-incarceration, survivors of domestic violence, in poverty, housing insecure, or living with medical limitations. From workforce readiness and digital literacy training to mentorship and professional networking programs, our participants’ success rates are high and our programs results are life-changing.
- 86% of our Foot in the Door workforce readiness participants became employed or began post-secondary education or job training within three months of graduation, and most graduates received National Career Readiness Certificates
- 64% of Foot in the Door graduates joined our 1:1 mentorship program
- 84% of our Professional Women’s Group members have earned new jobs or promotions, 53% enrolled in higher education or training, and 37% joined a board of directors or advisory council
Donating to Dress for Success of Western Massachusetts today will make a huge and lasting impact...
“Dress for Success programs have chaged my life. They provide insightful programming and helped me aim higher and keep learning about how to be my best self as an employee and contributor in the workplace.” Hope O.
“My life has changed significantly since I became involved with Dress for Success Western Mass. I now have a job, I’m in school, and I'm working towards bettering my life.” Marie R. *name changed for client anonymity
“The mentoring program is perfect to discover your ambitions and find your career path.” Delphine K.
These are just a few examples of the life-changing experiences our program participants have. Every year, graduates credit Dress for Success of Western Mass with encouraging them to go back to school to get or finish their degrees, supporting them in identifying a career path they are passionate about, and helping them gain the skills and confidence they need to get a new job or the promotion they’ve been hoping for.
Your gift will directly empower people like Marie, Delphine, and Hope to move away from jobs that force them into cycles of poverty and towards living wage positions along career paths that will help them to create generational change.
Thank you for your generous donation to the life-changing work that we do every day at DFSWM.
With gratitude,
Jessica Roncarati-Howe
